Appointed as Board liaison to the Township Mental Health Board, Katy hopes to assist in insuring that basic requirements are met and that monies are disbursed to best serve those in need. "It is an honor and privilege to serve the residents of Hanover Township in the capacity of Trustee," she stated.

CRAIG OCHOA - HIGHWAY COMMISSIONER

Craig Ochoa was appointed to the position of Hanover Township Highway Commissioner in March of 2007 (which was left vacant by Timothy O. Schneider who was elected as Cook County Commissioner for the 15th District in November of 2006).
As the new Highway Commissioner, Mr. Ochoa wants to continue the programs and progress Mr.  Schneider and staff have accomplished over the last 10 years by ensuring that the “unincorporated” road system and bridges safely meet the challenges ahead. We want to develop a long term, strategic plan to resurface our Township roads and ensure they are maintained and are ready to meet the future and growing demands set by our residents.
As we continue to expand, Mr. Ochoa wants to make sure the Highway Department strives to bring it’s residents excellent service by furthering the development of our brush pick-up program and maintaining the very high level of fiscal responsibility for the department and Township. In the last  8 years, under Mr. Schneider, the Road
District’s budget has remained exactly the same without any increase which Mr. Ochoa hope to maintain in the coming years.
