Hanover Township Mental Health Board puts out “call
for proposals”
Since December of 2006, members of the Hanover Township Mental Health Board have been engaged in a comprehensive strategic planning process. A result of this process has been the prioritization of community needs that may be addressed through use of Hanover Township Mental Health Board funds. This prioritization has been based upon information received through a needs assessment survey and a community meeting that was held on April 30, 2007.
On Friday, June 15, 2007, The Hanover Township Mental Health Board will host a meeting to review the process for current and future applications for funding. The meeting will be held in Downey Hall at the Hanover Township Offices located at 250 S. Route 59 in Bartlett from 11:30-1:00 PM. Light lunch will be provided. Representatives from human service organizations, as well as faith-based organizations, that serve residents of Hanover Township are encouraged to attend this informational meeting.
The Hanover Township Mental Health Board ensures that services in the area of mental health, including developmental disabilities and substance abuse, are available to all resident of Hanover Township The mission of the Hanover Township Mental Health Board is to advocate for increasing the availability and quality of mental health services through the development of a comprehensive and coordinated system of effect and efficient program delivery, accessible to all resident of Hanover Township. Hanover Township is comprised of the Cook County sections of Elgin, Bartlett, Hanover Park, as well as the Village of Streamwood and portions of Hoffman Estates and Schaumburg.
